Responsibilities:

  1. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen utensils using the dishwashing equipment or by hand.
  2. Load and unload the dishwasher, ensuring that items are properly placed for effective cleaning and sanitization.
  3. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as pots, pans, and cooking utensils, following established procedures.
  4. Sort and organize cleaned dishes and utensils, ensuring they are stored in the appropriate designated areas.
  5. Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dishwashing and kitchen area.
  6. Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning, as needed.
  7. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the dishwashing process.
  8. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to sanitation standards.
  9. Notify management of any maintenance or equipment issues in the dishwashing area.
  10. Support the overall kitchen team by assisting with cleaning duties and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  4. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  5. Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.

  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
